Alumni at Synergy
Once in Synergy, Always in Synergy
At Synergy, recovery doesn’t end when a program does. Every graduate becomes part of a growing community of men and women who continue to support one another long after treatment. Our alumni network embodies what Synergy stands for: connection, accountability, and ongoing growth.
Through mentorship, community events, and continued access to resources, alumni remain actively involved in the lives of current clients. Their experience brings stability, perspective, and encouragement to those who are just beginning their recovery journey. It’s how Synergy stays what it has always been. A community built on shared experience and long-term support.
A Full Circle of Support
When residents complete their program, they don’t leave the Synergy community behind. Instead, they step into a new role within it. Graduates often become mentors and sponsors for new residents, helping them navigate early recovery with honesty and understanding. This sense of giving back reinforces the idea that recovery is both individual and collective: we grow stronger by helping others do the same.
Before graduation, each client works closely with their Case Manager and Primary Therapist to create a plan for continued success. These plans are as individual as the clients themselves, addressing goals for education, career, housing, and personal development. Alumni remain connected to Synergy staff and have access to ongoing guidance and referrals whenever they need additional support.
The Collegiate House
One of the most meaningful expressions of Synergy’s alumni community is The Collegiate House, a residence designed for graduates who want to stay local and remain part of Synergy’s network of support.
Originally established for men completing the Flagship Program, The Collegiate House provides a structured, recovery-oriented home where alumni can continue building on their progress while maintaining independence. Many residents take on mentorship roles, offering peer guidance to new clients while pursuing their own goals in school, work, or leadership.
The Collegiate House allows alumni to preserve the close relationships they formed in treatment and to grow within a familiar, encouraging environment. It reflects Synergy’s belief that recovery doesn’t just change individuals—it creates communities that sustain one another.
Features of The Collegiate House:
- Four single bedrooms for comfort and privacy
- A modern, fully equipped kitchenBackyard and patio space for relaxation and community gatherings
- Backyard and patio space for relaxation and community gatherings
Connection Beyond the Program
Synergy’s alumni events and outreach programs give graduates opportunities to stay involved, reconnect, and continue growing. Regular alumni meetups, service projects, and support groups keep relationships strong and ensure that no one ever feels disconnected from the community.
Many alumni describe these experiences as essential to maintaining balance and purpose in recovery. They find meaning in giving back, mentoring others, and continuing to live out the principles of accountability and community that guided them during their time in Synergy’s programs.
Continuing the Journey
For Synergy alumni, life after treatment is not about starting over, it’s about continuing forward with confidence and clarity. Our alumni network helps graduates stay connected, supported, and inspired through every stage of recovery and life.
Whether living independently, attending school, or mentoring others, our alumni remain proof that lasting change is possible with structure, support, and community.
